As we all know, ultraviolet light (UV light) has been successfully extended to commercial applications more than thirty years ago. The adhesives manufacturers have developed a series of UV products for bonding, sealing, printing and so on, and are widely used in many fields, such as communication, electronics, optics, printing and so on, in view of the UV curing characteristics. These products can solidify or harden (polymerization) under the irradiation of UV light (certain wavelength and certain light intensity), and are more efficient, energy saving and environmentally friendly with the traditional product - UV light curing.
UV curing equipment has also undergone continuous development and improvement process. The mainstream technology of mercury lamp irradiation has been used for a long time. However, because of the high cost of equipment, high maintenance cost and fast attenuation of UV light intensity, the surface temperature of the irradiated elements, the large volume, the expensive material and the tribute pollution have been improved. However, the limitations of the original hardware have been difficult to break through.
The advent of UV LED has revolutionized the UV curing industry. It has the characteristics of constant light intensity, excellent temperature control, portable environmental protection, relatively low purchasing cost and almost zero maintenance cost, which plays an important role in improving the quality of UV curing process and saving energy and reducing consumption.
UV point light source, UV line light source and UV surface light source have been applied to various industries. We believe that, through the joint efforts of the industry, the future UV curing industry will have a new world of environmental protection and energy saving.
Service life
Compared with the traditional UV curing equipment, the life span of the mercury lamp is only 800-3000 hours, and the service life of the UV LED UV curing system is 20000-30000 hours. The LED mode can be lighted only instantaneously when the ultraviolet light is required, and the LED mode is equivalent to 30-40 times the mode of the mercury lamp when the DUIY=1/5 (preparation time =5 irradiation time =1). Reduced the time to change the bulb: increased productivity and energy saving. While the traditional mercury lamp mode curing equipment is working, because the mercury lamp starts slowly and opens and close the life of the bulb, it must be lighted all the time. Non thermal radiation
High power light emitting diodes are not emitted by infrared. The surface temperature of the irradiated product rises below 5 C, and the UV curing machine of the traditional mercury lamp will generally increase the surface of the irradiated product by 60-90 degree C, so that the positioning of the product will be displaced and the product is bad. UV-LED curing method is the most suitable for plastic substrate, lens bonding and electronic products, optical fiber cable and other thermal sensitive, high-precision bonding process requirements.
Environment-friendly and pollution-free
The traditional mercury lamp mode curing machine uses mercury lamp to light, there are Mercury in the bulb, waste disposal and transportation are very troublesome, and the improper treatment will cause serious pollution to the environment. The LED type curing machine adopts semiconductor lighting without environmental pollution. Therefore, the use of LED type curing machine is more environmentally friendly.
Super intensity illumination
Using high-power LED chips and special optical design, UV light to achieve high-precision, high-intensity irradiation; UV output to 8600 mW / m2 irradiation intensity. Using the latest optical technology and manufacturing technology, the high strength output and uniformity are realized more optimized than the traditional mercury lamp irradiation mode. It is almost 2 times the luminosity of the traditional mercury lamp, which makes the UV binder faster curing, shortens the production time and greatly improves the production efficiency.
When the traditional mercury lamp curing machine increases the irradiation channel, the output energy of a single irradiation channel will be reduced. With LED irradiation, each irradiator emits light independently, and the irradiation energy is not affected by the increase of the channel, and is always at the maximum value.
Because of its super concentrated illuminance, compared with mercury lamp, UV LED shortens operation time and improves production efficiency.
Low energy consumption
The efficiency of UV LED is 10 times higher than that of mercury lamp.
At the same time, whether the mercury lamp is illuminated effectively or not, the mercury lamp needs continuous lighting, and the electricity is always in a state of consumption. UV LED only consumes power when it is irradiated, while the power consumption is almost zero when it is standby. A simple calculation can be made to save the power of each point light curing machine.
