The composition of UVLED (ultraviolet LED)

UV LED (ultraviolet LED) consists of one or more InGaN quantum wells sandwiched in a thin GaN sandwich structure, forming an active layer. By changing the relative proportion of InN-GaN in InGaN quantum wells, the emission wavelength can be changed from violet to other light. AlGaN can be used to fabricate cladding and quantum well layers in UV LEDs by changing the ratio of AlN, but the efficiency and maturity of these devices are poor. If the active quantum well layer is GaN, relative to InGaN or AlGaN alloy, the spectrum range of the device is 350~370nm.

When the short electron pulse of the blue InGaN light emitting diode pump produces ultraviolet radiation. Aluminum nitride, especially AlGaN and AlGaInN, can produce shorter wavelength devices and get UVLED of a series of wavelengths. The diode with wavelengths of up to 247nm has been commercialized. The LED based on aluminum nitride and the emission of 210nm ultraviolet radiation has been developed successfully, and the UVLED of the 250~270nm band is also being developed.

New UV output light source UV LED, compared with mercury lamp and hernia lamp and other traditional gas UV light source has a strong advantage, its main features are as follows:

(1) the frequency of opening and closing does not affect the service life, while the UV light intensity of the traditional ultraviolet light mercury lamp decreases with the increase of the accumulative opening times and the ignition time.

(2) the life span is longer than 20000 hours, and the life span of the traditional ultraviolet light source is 100-1000 hours.

(3) high efficiency and energy saving, the highest photoelectric conversion efficiency of traditional ultraviolet light source is 60%.

(4) spectral concentration, ultraviolet light accounts for more than 98% of all light output, and no infrared Fuxing is attached to the traditional light source.

(5) small volume, 0.1cm volume only, it can be assembled into various forms of lamp array at random and applied to different needs.

(6) the main wave peak is narrow and single: 90%, the output of light is concentrated within the range of + 10nm of the main wave peak.

(7) DC low voltage drive: suitable for portable UV equipment;

(8) the output power is stable and continuously adjustable.

(9) instant light: no preheating time is required, and the response time is microsecond.

(10) environmental protection: no mercury, no heavy metal pollution.

Ultraviolet bactericidal UV lamp can send out ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 253.7nm, which is most easily absorbed by bacteria and virus protein and nucleic acid. It can make protein degenerate and dissociate, form thymine two polymer in nucleic acid, destroy the DNA and RNA structure of various viruses and bacteria, and cause the death of bacteria and virus in a few seconds and kill. The efficiency of bacteria is as high as 99%, which can kill other bacteria that can not be sterilized by disinfection.

(1) bacteria (more than 18 species), such as Escherichia coli, baculovirus, Escherichia coli, two kuribacilli, pulmonary tuberculosis, Neisseria, Salmonella, etc.

(2) mold (more than 8 species), such as Penicillium, black mold, Mucor, fecal fungi, etc.

(3) filtering virus (more than 10 species), such as hepatitis virus, influenza virus, poliovirus and so on.
