Today's UVC-LED players, the leading technology to Japan and the United States enterprises, including the United States Crystal IS, Japan's Nikko ISO and other international companies, the second echelon of LG Innotek as the representative of Korean enterprises and Guangyun Technology as the representative of Taiwan enterprises, of course, in addition to the Qingdao Jason UVC disinfection and sterilization products, Most companies in the mainland are still in the research and development stage. Now I'd like to introduce the UVC-LED technology level of each enterprise. We usually use the electro-optic conversion efficiency to evaluate.

NIKISO recently announced that the output power of 280 nm UVC-LED is 140 mW and the current is 350 mA. The final conversion efficiency is about 2.5%, which is the international leading level. The 275nm wavelength of Crystal IS is LED, and its output power is 67mW, and its photoelectric conversion efficiency is 1.3%. LG Innotek's 278nm LED, 350mA maximum output power is 60mW, its efficiency is about 1.6%. Taiwan's representative enterprises have optical fiber technology, its 280nm LED 40mA output power is about 6mW, its efficiency is about 1.5%. The official network of Qingdao Jason, a domestic manufacturer, shows that the output power of 275-285 nm LED is 1.5-4.0 mW at 40 mA and the photoelectric conversion efficiency is 0.3-0.8%.

Mercury lamps still dominate the total output value of all ultraviolet light sources, but ultraviolet LEDs are also catching up. It is expected that in three years, the total output value of all ultraviolet light sources will exceed mercury lamps.

Of course, this is due to the significant breakthroughs in UV LED technology in China. Fig. 11 is a sketch of the UV-LED industry chain in the Mainland. Due to the threshold of epitaxial chips and packaging technology, companies with differentiated product orientation, such as Crystal Photonics with silicon substrate technology and Big Mac's SAN Photonics and Development Crystal Technology Technologies dominate the UVA market, forcing Taiwan's Kwangyeong Liansheng to win. Korea's LG Seoul Semiconductor and Japan's Japan Chemicals and Japan's Japan Machine Assembly and other companies turn to the more difficult UVC market. Of course, both at home and abroad, there are several small companies with outstanding UV technology. They are technology-oriented vertical integration companies. The whole UVA curing module or luminaire is directly oriented to the market. For example, my friend, Professor Chen Changqing of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Youweixing Technology and Yinchuang Technology, an independent horn animal company founded by Dr Li Yunli in Taiwan, both of which have the technical ability to integrate vertically and develop UV curing products for terminals, do not assume that Yinchuang Technology is the only one. Micro LED, UVLED and Blu ray laser modules are also their main products.

Like Blu-ray LED 20 years ago, Japan's UVC-LED is absolutely in the lead, but the price is a very high threshold, the mainland of China's UVA-LED has been a breakthrough, there are also several mainland giants began to target the market for UVC-LED, perhaps the domestic UVC-LED technology breakthrough, it can replace it. Mercury lamp, for the benefit of mankind!
